The wacky idea I had last week took over my brain, and has now transformed into something like a real game.
Timeless is a “metasystem” that ties together independent characters in different tabletop roleplaying game systems into a single being, a Timeless, who incarnates in different parallel worlds at different times. I added more explanation, alternate mechanics, and a quartet of equally system-independent potential antagonists.
Consider this thing in pre-alpha development. I wrote it over a week, and it hasn’t been tested at all.
(I’ve also spell-checked all the Shadowdark bits I’ve been grinding out this past month. More will undoubtedly be coming.)
I hope you find Timeless entertaining, even if not entirely practical in a world of busy adults.
