There’s always exactly one Xarol, and despite minor personality differences he(?) remains basically the same: fanatically dedicated to his Verduran masters’ interests and willing to argue about anything.
Appearance
Xarol looks like a short (1m), furry, almost animal-like creature with brown hair, a walrus-like mustache, and short but sharp claws and teeth. He has no externally visible genitalia but speaks with a querulous, mostly masculine voice.
Abilities
Apart from his questionable diplomatic skills, Xarol can hear nearly imperceptible sounds, climb trees, and attack with claws and teeth if badly provoked.
As a Synthoid (or something like one, using Verduran bio-science), he must eat the leaves of a certain plant every day or get sick. The Verdurans supply him with the plant.
Behavior
Xarol is infuriating. That’s his main negotiating tactic: winding up his opponent until they put a foot (or claw, or pseudopod) in their mouth and unwittingly cede victory.
Unfortunately this leads to a lot of wasted meeting hours as Xarol goes fishing for aggro. He will perseverate on minor points of order, reopen issues that everyone else closed, and generally get on everyone’s nerves.
Habitat
Despite seeming more at home in a Verduran forest, he seems far more alive in a meeting room, accusing his colleagues/opponents of trying to undermine the Verduran way of life.
