Astral Warden
A tall, gaunt, pale figure with primitive clothes and a skeletal aspect.
Astral Wardens reside primarily in the Astral Plane. In a corporeal world, Astral Wardens gather in “creche villages” to conceive and raise young. The Astral Plane stops all biological processes.
Astral Wardens tend to become less substantial the more time they spend in the Astral Plane. First they appear gaunt, then their flesh becomes translucent enough to see their bones.
When an Astral Warden translates themself to the Astral Plane, they can either stay in the Near Astral, where they remain invisible and insubstantial but aware of all that happens in the scene they just left, and able to return by reversing the process. They remain vulnerable while translating back into the Corporeal World. Alternatively, they can set off for the Far Astral and never be seen again.
