Dwarf
Dwarfs are short (1.2 m/4 ft.), stocky humanoids who dwell mostly underground in mines, caverns, and fine halls they have carved for themselves. Dwarfs are renowned as craftsmen and miners. Through adaptation and training they have learned to navigate the Shadowdark almost as well as the monsters they battle.
All Dwarfs have the following traits:
Abilities
Blind Fighter. Dwarfs can attack close targets in total darkness without Disadvantage.
Built For Lifting. Dwarfs have five extra Gear Slots.
Languages. Dwarfs speak, read, and write Common, Dwarfish, and Undercommon.
Magic Resistance. Dwarfs make saving throws vs. magic with Advantage.
Poison Resistance. Dwarfs make saving throws vs. poison with Advantage.
Tough. Roll d10 hit dice, or calculate 5.5 HP per hit die.
Inabilities
Magic Inability. Dwarfs use all magic with Disadvantage, even magic items.
Short Legs. Dwarfs can only move near once on their action.
Unusual Build. Dwarf clothing and armor does not fit humans, and vice versa.
